SMS Terms
Text message terms for TECOBI and our clients.
By opting in to receive text messages from TECOBI or our automotive clients, you agree to the carrier-compliant terms outlined here.
Opt-in
- If you're interested in receiving updates, offers, and promotions via text message from TECOBI or our clients, you may be asked to provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive marketing messages.
- Opt-in can happen through our websites, client websites, forms hosted on platforms like Facebook, AutoTrader, or CarGurus, or by providing your number directly to TECOBI team members or our dealer clients.
- By providing your number and opting in, you understand that message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out
- You may opt out at any time by replying to a TECOBI or client message with STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, END, or UNSUBSCRIBE.
- You may also email privacy@tecobi.com with your mobile number and a request to be removed from the list.
- After opting out you may receive a final confirmation message. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing.

Messaging frequency
- Message frequency varies by program. TECOBI and our clients work to limit the number of texts so subscribers are informed, not overwhelmed.
Supported carriers
- Programs are supported by AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, Virgin Mobile, and U.S. Cellular.
- TECOBI and our clients are not responsible for charges or fees assessed by your mobile provider.
Abuse
- Our platform is intended only for opt-in messaging tied to products or services a consumer requested or an existing business relationship.
- If you suspect misuse—such as unsolicited or spam text messages—email abuse@tecobi.com with details. TECOBI investigates every report and takes action to ensure responsible, legal use of the system.
Changes to these terms
- TECOBI and our clients may modify or update these opt-in/opt-out terms at any time.
- Continuing to participate in a text program after changes means you agree to the updated terms.
